Ps4 has plenty of space but wont download

 · There's loads of storage space on my PS4 and in the Minecraft game itself but I'm just stuck. It won't let me download anything else now, it's like there's a glitch/bug. I've been in touch with the PlayStation people and their suggestions have not helped (restore licenses etc.) and directed here for advice after advice to delete more templates.  · · PS4 won't power on after Anthem crash. My PS4 keeps saying there's not enough space to download a 15gb game, but storage space management says otherwise. Wether it's a 40gb or 1gb game, it won't let you download it unless you have at least 50 gb free. Permalink; embed; save. I deleted a bunch of files and games despite having plenty of free.  · You try to set it to download, only for your PS4 to tell you there's not enough space. The problem is that, whenever your PS4 downloads a game, Estimated Reading Time: 4 mins.

So it's a MB download. But that will be totaled with + GB when you factor in ALL the downloads you ever made for that title. This is what the PS4 will count, rather than the measly MB. You'll probably have to clear an extra 10GB of space to make up 80GB at least. It's a joke, frankly. I have LBP 2 Special Edition's game data that's like 3 gigs. Is it possible to delete that to make space for P3 FES, and then after P3 FES deletes its unnecessary gigs (it's apparently about 9 all together from what you guys are saying; for the download and for the install), re-download the LBP 2 data? PS5 (left) and PS4 and you have plenty of extra space in addition to what the system came with. you'll be met with a Queued for Download message, but your content won't begin downloading.

Basically, this PS4 error does not let the users download any game stating not enough space, even though there is plenty left in the barrel. This can be really frustrating for PS4 owners as their favorite game might just have received an important patch that fixes certain errors, but thanks to this error, they are not able to patch it. Try restarting your PS4. If that doesn't work delete the updates and download them one by one. If both of those don't work, I'm not entirely sure what the problem is as I've never experienced. Because of how the PlayStation 4 stores games, you must have at least double the original file size of the game available in free space to install any update.
